Jazz Workshop Orchestra
The JW Orchestra Association is a cultural association based in Bergamo, which aims to popularize creative music through live concerts.The orchestra, composed of professionals, was founded in 1994 by saxophonist and clarinetist Marco Gotti (who personally takes care of the arrangements and direction).
The artistic offerings consist of arrangements, original pieces edited and written by Marco Gotti to the repertoires of Big Bands that have made the history of Jazz music such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Glenn Miller.
The JW Orchestra has collaborated with established soloists nationally and internationally such as Bob Mintzer, Bill Watrous, Enrico Intra, Fabrizio Bosso, Lew Soloff, Bobby Watson, Dave Weckl, Michael Rosen, etc...
